Friday's Hike

Friday evening after everyone took their daily nap, we went on a beautiful hike. . . Well Mike, Katelyn & Dallin and his family did, I stayed behind with McKayla

This past Sunday we got together as a Family at Mark's again.

Well if any of you know us, you would know that we are that type that likes to do different things and see different things.

Well, this was one of those day's . . . Sunday we had a little friend come to the house.

Yep, that's right The kids had a hard time at first but after awhile they were having fun watching it.

He is about 3 months old

Saturday morning I had to pull out the "cricket" and make somethings for my mom, and McKayla was right there to help me. She thinks she helping !

She even thinks she knows what button's to push.

When I got home from work on Wednesday Dallin was a little in the moody side.

(Dang sister rubbing off on him)

So I gave him a bath to make him happy and put him in the Family room to have him play with his toys, well Dallin is starting to get around and some how he got behind my chair and was a happy boy for about 30 min.

Sunday evening

On Sunday's we get together at one of our homes, well the night before I asked if anyone was coming over for dinner. And all of them said "no" or "I don't think so" but by 6:00 pm everyone had made it over to my house. Well everyone except Mark and his family

Good thing I put a roast in.

It was such a pretty evening that we went outside after dinner.

Strawberry Lake

For "Father's Day" we wanted to give something to our dad that he would enjoy, so we bought him a day with his family at Strawberry Lake. We rented two boats just to fit us all on.

On the first boat there was . . .

Oh, and then there was me, but you can't see me

Mike had work & School and Dallin I left with Shauna

didn't think he would like to be out on the water for 8 hours.

We were on the boat less then 10 min. before the kids were

asking for something to eat.

It was always a race with the two boats

With in 2 yours out on the boat the weather started to look a little on the scary side.

So, we started to head back in to wait out the storm

I really think Ken enjoyed this part, all the screaming from the girls.

After an 1 1/2 wait we were able to get back on the boat, but by that time

it was McKayla's nap time and she wasn't going to wait any longer.

with in 2 min she was out!

then there was Abbie and last but not least Zack

Kylee sure tried to but uncle Ken just didn't let her

So, she got up to go swimming in the cold lake.

Zach woke up shortly after to eat some more.

(he sure is a "Snow" boy)

So did McKayla and she was MUCH happier

Emilee didn't like McKayla's driving so she took over

It was a pretty afternoon.

Emilee got hot and wanted to go for a swim.

by 7:00 we started heading back to the docks

oh, by the way with NO FISH!

But on the way back. . . .

Pretty Boy Wayne caught the first and only Fish for the day!

And beleive me the boy's (Mark, Ken, & Dan) weren't very happy

Wayne was so excited, just 30 minuites before catching the fish, Wayne wasn't to happy with Strawberry. Now he loves it.
